Ti (Chow) constantly works to provide a better life for his son Dicky (Xu Jian). Dicky struggles to fit in with his classmates because he wears old clothes and doesn’t have the latest electronic gadgets. One night, Ti finds a mysterious sphere in the dumpster while looking for toys for his son. When he brings it home for Dicky to play with, the sphere transforms into a creature with mysterious powers.
