Michael Newman, who has a separate remote control for every electronic device in his home, wants a universal remote control just like his neighbors. He starts visiting shops to find one, and eventually comes across a remote control that not only controls electronic devices, but also his own life. At first, everything seems to be going well, but soon the remote control starts to take control of Michael Newman’s life and makes him realize how much he misses living life on his own terms.
