Close is an adrenaline-pumping thriller film written and directed by Vicky Jewson (Born of War). Inspired by the life of leading female bodyguard Jacquie Davis, the film stars Noomi Rapace as Sam, a terrorist expert who takes on the task of protecting Zoe (Sophie Nélisse), a young and wealthy heiress. However, after a dangerous kidnapping attempt, they are forced to go on the run, with no choice but to kill to survive. Close is a 2019 UK – US production in the action and thriller genre.
