Cobb 1994
Legendary Tyrus Raymond Cobb (Ty) is considered the greatest baseball player of all time. At the age of 72, he decides to write a biography that fully captures his life. Sports writer Al Stump is chosen to help him with this task. However, things do not go as smoothly as expected, and after months of working together, Cobb and Stump become friends. Stump struggles to decide between writing a documentary-style book as planned or depicting the true cantankerous nature of Cobb. He ends up writing two books simultaneously, unsure which one will be published in the end, especially considering Cobb’s deteriorating health.
