Columbus 2017
During a conference tour, a renowned architect falls ill, leaving his son Jin feeling trapped in Columbus, Indiana, known for its numerous modernist buildings. Jin befriends Casey, who works at the library and is passionate about architecture. As their bond deepens, they begin to uncover conflicting emotions. Jin has a strained relationship with his father, while Casey is reluctant to leave her mother and Columbus behind. Directed by Kogonada, the 2018 American drama film “Columbus” has won awards in 8 different categories.
