Cop Land 1997
Freddie Heflin, the sheriff of a small town near New York where police officers live, has always admired them but could never become one of them due to being deemed unfit for the police force because of his deafness. One night, a young police officer named Murray is chased by two carjackers and shoots them in self-defense. One of the town’s police officers, Ron, sets out to cover up the incident. The Department of Internal Affairs sends Mo to investigate the case, and he asks for Freddie’s help.
