Coraline 2009
Coraline Jones, 11, is a curious, adventurous, and slightly chubby girl who moves with her family from Michigan to Oregon. She befriends Wybe Lovat, a boy her age, and together they visit their eccentric neighbors. Coraline discovers a hidden door in her house that leads to a parallel reality where everything seems better, with kinder adults and even a mysterious cat taking an interest in her. However, she soon realizes that this Other World is not as perfect as it seems, especially when the Other Mother tries to trap her there. Coraline must use her creativity, determination, and courage to find her way back home and save her family.
