The grandfather and his obedient grandson live on a small island that forms part of the natural border between Georgia and Abkhazia. They cultivate corn in the same way for years, unseen by anyone except passing soldiers. One day, a wounded soldier seeks shelter among their cornfields. Will they have to break their years of neutrality?
