Cover Girl 1944
Rusty Parker, a beautiful, red-haired, long-legged club dancer, dreams of becoming a successful Broadway star. She enters a “Cover Girl” contest and easily wins due to her resemblance to the publisher John Coudair’s former lost love, dancer Maribel Hicks. Despite being engaged to Maribel, John chooses Rusty over her. Rusty is torn between her former flame Danny and John’s wealthy friend, producer Noel Wheaton. It’s not an easy choice to make.
