Dances with Wolves 1990
Lieutenant Dunbar is assigned to a border post in South Dakota after the American Civil War. He befriends a wolf that constantly visits the post. The local Sioux people see him playing with the wolf and start calling him the man who dances with wolves. His perceptions begin to change as he gets to know the peaceful Sioux people better and strengthens their friendship. As they start behaving like one of them, they fall in love with a white man raised by the Sioux who stands up to danger with them.
