The Day family in Kansas is brutally murdered on their farm, leaving only their daughter Libby Day alive. At just 5 years old, Libby manages to escape in the deadly cold of January. However, her escape is not her salvation as she encounters unfortunate events along the way. Subsequently, Libby is thrust into the media spotlight and unwillingly makes a damning statement about her family’s deaths. 25 years pass, but she struggles to forget the events that transpired, failing to truly move on.
