Darling Companion 2012
On a winter afternoon, Beth and her daughters come across a lost, raggedy dog on the side of the road. Beth, struggling with an empty nest and a lost husband in her own life, forms a special bond with the rescued animal. Joseph, after losing his dog at their summer home, embarks on a wild search. Angered, Beth enlists the help of a few remaining wedding guests and a mysterious young woman. As these people venture out in groups to search for the dog, they are deeply affected by unexpected, humorous, disappointing, and sometimes deeply emotional adventures.
