Dead Man Walking 1995
A nun (Susan Sarandon) receives a letter from a death row inmate (Sean Penn). Instead of reaching out to the inmate before his execution, the nun approaches the inmate’s loved ones to understand their thoughts about him. She realizes he is a good person. Directed by Tim Robbins, the film was a powerful drama with exceptional performances.
