Decision at Sundown 1957
Bart Allison (Randolph Scott) comes to Sundown Town to kill Tate Kimbrough (John Carroll). He holds Kimbrough responsible for the death of his wife three years ago. Bart finds Kimbrough and warns him. He plans to kill him, but a bad development occurs and he and his friend Sam are trapped in a barn. Kimbrough’s henchman and his deputies besiege the barn. Despite the Sheriff’s promise to let them leave safely, Sam is shot in the back when he tries to leave the barn, causing turmoil in the town. Some townspeople switch sides and stand against Kimbrough. With the townspeople disarming the Sheriff’s men, Allison is left to face Kimbrough alone. As Allison deals with the Sheriff, he is shot in the right hand and now must face Kimbrough with his left hand.
