The film, released in 1997, focuses on Princess Diana’s relationship with her Pakistani lover Hasnat Khan before her romance with Dodi Fayed. Diana, rumored to have a deep love for Khan, tragically died in a suspicious car accident in 1997 alongside heart surgeon Dr. J. Dodi Fayed. The movie, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel and starring Naomi Watts, is based on Diana and Hassan’s experiences between 1995 and 1997.
