Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2010
Greg Heffley thinks middle school is the most useless idea in the world. It’s filled with social landmines, weird girls, bullies, and cafeteria exiles. Greg comes up with plans to escape the endless “torture”, to be noticed, and to gain the status he thinks he deserves, but of course, all his plans backfire. He finds solace in writing all of this on a piece of paper, in a diary – “this is not a diary, it’s a journal!” Greg insists on giving his writings a less girly name and writes about his thoughts, his family life, his troubles, and the “schoolyard successes” he aspires to. “When I become famous one day,” Greg writes, “I’ll have better things to do than answering stupid questions all day.” And so, the diary of a wimpy kid begins…
