Thousands of people living near the factory are dying. Among those trying to escape are 16-year-old Hannah and her boyfriend Elmar. Elmar manages to escape at the last minute but Hannah is poisoned. Elmar returns and places her in a quarantine zone. Every time they touch each other, Elmar also gets poisoned. They know they are nearing the end of their lives and their only goal is to spend their remaining time together.
