Dirty Rotten Scoundrels 1988
Lawrence (Michael Caine) is a sophisticated and authoritative socialite while Freddie (Steve Martin) is just a con artist. Lawrence tries to distance himself from Freddie when he sees the potential for deception in him, but Freddie doesn’t stay away. Eventually, Lawrence starts teaching Freddie how to steal and cheat. However, competition arises between them during the lessons. In the end, they make a bet to see who can get $50,000 from a woman they see in the hotel lobby.
