Disobedience 2017
A woman, who had distanced herself from the Jewish community after her childhood friend, moves to New York. When she receives news of her respected religious father’s death, she returns to her hometown after a long time. This time, as she explores the boundaries of passion, sexuality, and faith with her two childhood friends, she becomes irresistibly drawn into a complex web of emotions. The 2017 British, Irish, and American co-production drama film Disobedience stars Alessandro Nivola and Rachel Weisz.
