A violent story of darkness in the human soul… Taking place in America during the gloomy tranquility of the 1930s, beautiful woman Grace seeks refuge in the small town of Dogville while on the run from the mafia. Tom, a resident of Dogville, meets Grace after hearing gunshots one night as she escapes the gangsters. Tom convinces the townspeople to help Grace hide. Grace meets the townspeople, who offer her shelter and sympathy. But as time passes, things take a dark turn. The presence of a woman poses a threat to the town residents, and they must be cautious. Grace will discover the dark side of the town with each passing day. The arrival of a woman named Grace shakes up the stagnant lives of the people in Dogville. She is too dangerous to fit into this small community. After allowing Grace to live in the town, the people who were initially wary of women and this new situation start demanding more and more from her with a boldness they never had before.
