Jeanne, a married writer with two children, starts noticing strange changes in herself at home. Her body is changing too. No one around her seems to notice. Her family dismisses her fears and attributes them to the stress of her work on her latest book. However, Jeanne is increasingly realizing that things are getting deeper and more disturbing. A photograph at her mother’s house leads her to discover a woman in Italy named Rosa Maria. Jeanne, now transformed into another woman named Rosa Maria, uncovers a strange truth about her identity.
