During World War II, the Germans shoot down an Allied bomber over Paris. The crew parachutes into the city and, with the help of our hero Stanislas LeFort and French civilians, attempt to cross the unoccupied southern border of France. The famous, successful French comedian returns to the business world, but this time in war. Louis de Funes’ miraculous movements in the war scenes bring laughter to the audience. This dramatic film, made 20 years after the war, humorously depicts a great war that killed millions of people.
