Roman legion General Lucius leads his troops along the Silk Road, tasked with protecting Consul Crassus’ son Publius from his treacherous brother Tiberius. As they flee east with Publius, they clash with Huo An, commander of the Western Region Silk Road Protection Army. Both sides realize they have been betrayed and develop respect for each other. Huo An offers shelter from a sandstorm in exchange for help repairing the Wild Geese Gate. Meanwhile, Tiberius arrives with his army, demanding Publius or he will invade Chinese territory. Huo An must fight to protect his land and clear his name of treason, uniting warriors from 36 different nations in a massive battle.
