Drift 2013
The movie Drift, which took its place in Australian cinemas on May 2, 2013, is a wonderful drama, sports film starring Sam Worthington. The story of the Drift movie is about the unstoppable passion for surfing of 3 brothers Kelly, Andy, and Jimmy living on the Australian shores in the 1970s. Surfing in the big waves means freedom for them. After spending 12 years in Margaret River, a small town with the world’s most notorious and dangerous waves, the 3 brothers have developed their surfing skills incredibly and are now professionals. Disliking small waves, the brothers have always been looking for big and amazing waves. However, surfing does not provide a financial income, and the rebellious child of the family, Jimmy, who is an excellent surfer, has to get involved in illegal activities because of the family’s debts. The eldest brother, Andy, plays his life on his middle brother Jimmy and quits his regular job to open a surf shop for Jimmy. The reason for this is that he wants Jimmy to improve his skills faster and become a great surfer. They now have a shop where they sell surfboards and diving gear. However, things always go wrong in one way or another, and their lives are in danger when they get involved with a local drug dealer. With the help of their friend who takes pictures of their surfing and other new friends they make, the 3 brothers will try to overcome all the obstacles and expand their business.
