Kosuke and Natsume grew up like siblings and have been friends since childhood. However, their relationship starts to deteriorate after Kosuke’s grandfather Yasuji dies in sixth grade. One summer day, Kosuke and his classmates sneak into a haunted apartment complex set to be demolished. Kosuke and Natsume grew up there, so it holds many memories for them. While there, Kosuke meets Natsume and is asked if he knows the mysterious Noppo. Suddenly, the friends find themselves caught in a mysterious event. When they come to, they are faced with a vast ocean in front of them. Drifting in the unknown waters of an apartment complex with Kangsuke and others, they band together to try to survive. In this adventure, there will be tears, fights, and even reconciliations. Will they be able to return to their original world? They are on a journey to bid farewell to summer.
