Driving Miss Daisy 1989
Bayan Daisy Vertan is a wealthy, elderly woman who never saw herself as rich, and never forgot the days when she was poor. As she ages and faces some health issues, she hires a driver to take care of her household chores. Initially reluctant to hire a driver as she doesn’t feel the need for one, Daisy eventually forms a friendship with Hawk, who was recommended by her son Bully. Despite constantly bickering, they develop a close bond. The film, starring Morgan Freeman and Dan Aykroyd, received four Oscars including Best Picture, and earned Jessica Tandy an Oscar for Best Actress, making her the oldest woman to win the award.
