Film, set during the Mexican Revolution, follows the story of an Irish soldier with explosives and another mercenary who wants to use his skills to rob banks. Sean Mallory, who helps rescue a group of political prisoners, suddenly becomes a folk hero. Despite his sole aim of making a lot of money and gaining some fame, he did not expect to become a revolutionary hero. He soon loses control and things spiral out of control.
