In 1994, Korean-American teenager Hyun Jae goes to a bar in New Mexico where she is drugged and taken to Las Vegas. There, she is forced into a brothel and held captive for 2 years. Drawing strength from the group that imprisoned her, Hyun-jae survives her ordeal. Inspired by the true story of human trafficking victim Jung Kim, the film delves into the darkest corners of America and its people.
