Edge of Darkness is a film directed by Martin Campbell and starring Mel Gibson, Danny Huston, Ray Winstone, and Sean Roberts. Thomas Craven is a homicide detective and a single father raising his daughter. When his 24-year-old daughter is shot dead in front of him, everyone assumes Craven is the target. However, Craven begins to suspect otherwise and decides to investigate his daughter’s death. The investigation leads him into his daughter’s secret life, government secrets, and a covert government agent tasked with destroying evidence, Darius Jedburgh.
