Elysium 2013
In Neill Blomkamp’s 2013 film Elysium, we are taken to a futuristic world where humanity has turned Earth into a garbage dump. The story is set in 2154, where the privileged few live on a clean and new world called Elysium, while the majority of Earth’s population struggles in poverty and despair. Only a select few are allowed to go to Elysium, and the rest are considered illegal. However, one young man will risk everything to change the status quo and make a difference.
