Outside 2041. Alex (Daniel Brühl), a famous cybernetic engineer, is called to lead a project to build child robots at the Robotics Department in Santa Irene. Alex’s brother David and his wife Lana are a happy couple who have built their own lives in Santa Irene after Alex leaves. They have a daughter named Eva.
