Evolution 2001
Glen Canyon, Arizona, present. Wayne witnesses a meteorite crash as he prepares for a desert fire test. The next day, biology teacher Dr. Ira Kane and geography teacher Harry Block decide to go to the bottom of the cave where the meteorite is stuck. When they try to take a sample, they notice a blue liquid seeping from the meteorite. In the liquid, they see single-celled organisms developing at an incredible speed before their eyes. As these alien organisms start spreading rapidly in a terrifying manner, the dream of quickly winning the Nobel Prize by controlling them before the army takes control is now turning into a distant dream. As Darwin said, now it’s time for the survival race of the fittest.
