Dom is currently living a fugitive life in the Dominican Republic with his team, stealing oil-filled trucks to make money. However, the FBI manages to track down Dom and begins to pursue him. Dom only cares about his beloved Letty back home. Despite coming to the Dominican Republic to live a peaceful life away from the police, they do not leave him alone and eventually locate him. Both a friend and a foe, Brain, also plays a role in the story. His anger towards Brain stems from his being a cop, and one day, someone dear to Dom dies. Forced to return to Los Angeles, Dom crosses paths with Brain, and a confrontation is inevitable. Brain offers Dom a deal to help catch a drug dealer named Braga, who is responsible for the death of someone close to Dom. Will this event create a new bond of trust between Brain and Dom, turning their friendship into something more, or will it lead to hatred and enmity?
