Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 1998
In 1972, with Nixon as the US president and the country’s youth dying in Vietnam, Raul Duke (Johnny Depp) tried to cope with it in his own way. Along with the mysterious Dr. Gonzo, they raced through the Las Vegas desert in a speeding car, both trying to escape attacking bats. The radio blared news of the Vietnam War, but it meant little to them as they were lost in their hallucinations. When they picked up a third hitchhiker, they tried to act as normal as possible.
