Femme Fatale 2002
During the Cannes Film Festival, a killer thief named Laura Ash steals a famous film star’s jewelry. Her partners are caught by the police during the heist, and Laura escapes to America. Seven years later, the woman returns to France and starts a new life under the name Lily. A paparazzi named Nicholas Bardot takes a photo of Ash, thinking she left her old life behind. A young woman whose secret is revealed tries to escape her predicament with a diabolical plan. A cleverly crafted film reminiscent of famous director Brian De Palma’s earlier works.
