Field of Dreams 1989
Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) has recently moved to Iowa with his family and started farming. One day, while working in his field, a mysterious voice tells him “If you build it, they will come.” Ray interprets this in a strange way: the voice is telling him to build a baseball stadium on his land. Although his wife doubts this interpretation, she tells Ray to listen to his heart. Ray starts building a stadium and the mysterious voices lead him to a baseball expert named Terence Man (James Earl Jones), and the duo begins to follow the messages that come from the unseen and dreams.
