Final Portrait 2017
Swiss painter and sculptor Alberto Giacometti meets his old friend, American writer John Lord, in Paris. The painter expresses his desire to draw John Lord’s portrait, noting that he has an interesting face. John Lord accepts the offer, thinking it will only take two days. However, as Alberto Giacometti’s work stretches on for weeks, the writer realizes that his life is being taken over by this eccentric artist.
