Finding Forrester 2000
16-year-old Jamal receives a scholarship to the prestigious Mailor-Collow school thanks to his high grades in exams. Despite initially facing problems with the wealthy kids because of his background from the slums, he becomes popular through his sports success and writing. Jamal allegedly breaks into the humble writer William Forrester’s house one day to steal something. However, he drops his backpack while escaping. When he returns it, he discovers that he left some notes in the writer’s notebooks. This leads to an unusual friendship between Jamal and Forrester. Forrester, who used to be a famous novelist but stopped writing, sees talent in the young man.
