Flubber 1997
Professor Philip Brainard (Robin Williams) is a scientist and thinker whose daily life is not very interesting. He forgets his wedding day with his beloved fiancée Sarah (Marcia Gay Harden) twice, being described as absent-minded by others. What makes him forget this important date is his upcoming experiment with his high-voltage flying robot, Weebo. Professor Brainard is working on a new energy source that could revolutionize the scientific world and save the financially troubled Medfield College, where Sarah is the president. Everything goes well, so Professor and Sarah decide to have a third marriage. On the day he made this decision while working in his laboratory, years of research finally paid off and he discovered a miraculous substance. This green substance resembles rubber but has the ability to neutralize gravity. The professor calls it “Flubber.”
