Flyboys 2006
1916, Two years into World War I, the Allied forces have been unable to break through the strong German trenches on the western front, resulting in millions of lives lost. While the U.S. remains neutral and isolated from the conflict, some American volunteers join the fight in Europe as ambulance drivers and members of the French Foreign Legion. Soon, a group of American volunteers form their own special squadron to combat the well-equipped German pilots and aid the Allies in their war efforts. The Flyboys heroic pilot squadron is born, ready to fight to the death.
