Frantic 1988
Dr. Richard Walker, a surgeon visiting Paris with his wife Sondra for a medical conference, finds himself in a desperate search for her after she mysteriously disappears from their hotel. With little help from the hotel staff, he takes matters into his own hands and follows a lead from a homeless man who claims to have seen Sondra being forced into a car. As he uncovers more clues, including a bracelet belonging to his wife, he begins to unravel a complex mystery involving a mysterious woman. Despite its commercial failure domestically, the film received positive reviews from critics and performed better in other countries such as France.
