Fred, who has been criticized for not looking like his brother throughout his childhood, grows up to be an unlucky and poor man compared to his perfect brother. He even ends up in jail. Nicholas decides to help his brother, but with one condition: he will come to the North Pole and earn the money he needs by working at Santa’s toy shop there.
