Fright Night 2011
The original Fright Night, directed by Chucky creator Tom Holland, was an interesting reimagining of what happens after horror film addict Charlie discovers that his new neighbor in the area is a vampire. The remake of the film, set to be released in the US on August 19th, takes a twisted approach to vampire culture, embellishing it with many absurd and comical elements. Colin Farrell stars as the vampire, Anton Yelchin as Charlie, Toni Collette as the mother, and David Tennant as Peter Vincent, with Craig Gillespie, who did a good job with Lars and the Real Girl, directing.
