Famous stand-up comedian George Simmons learns he has a life-threatening illness with less than a year to live. One day, he meets Ira, a promising stand-up comedian who he takes under his wing as his assistant. As George’s health deteriorates, their bond grows stronger, turning their professional relationship into a deep friendship.
