Gangster Squad 2013
Los Angeles, 1949. Brooklyn-born, ruthless mob boss Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this city, making dirty profits from drugs, guns, prostitution, and big bets in Chicago. Protected by his paid men, as well as corrupt cops and politicians, he rules with an iron fist. But a small and secret group of brave and tough cops from outside the LAPD may just be the exception. Led by Sergeant John O’Mara (Josh Brolin) and Sergeant Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling), this group has come together to take down Cohen’s world.
