Sam and Molly, a couple deeply in love with each other, live in New York. One day, Sam is stabbed by a mugger and dies. As his spirit begins to leave his mortal body, he starts to discover his next life day by day. He finds himself in a place where the living and the dead coexist, but the souls of the living cannot see the dead. With the help of a kind-hearted ghost he meets in his new life, Sam learns to manipulate certain objects. However, when he uncovers some secrets from his past life, everything will change.
