Girl 2018
Girl film tells the story of 15-year-old Lara who dreams of becoming a ballerina. Lara is accepted to a ballet school and her dream seems closer to becoming a reality than ever. However, there is a problem: Lara has a male body that she must push to its limits in order to succeed. The 2018 Belgium – Netherlands co-production Girl is directed by Lukas Dhont and has won awards in 18 different categories.
