Adrian Cronauer, a famous DJ, is hired by the military to host a radio program one morning. He shakes things up with his humor and hippie tunes, much to the delight of the troops but the dismay of his superiors. Set in the 60s during the Vietnam War, the film follows Cronauer’s wild adventures in Saigon as he transforms the American radio station into a lively show.
