In this film by Atom Egoyan, which had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, the focus is on the complex relationship between a father and his daughter. Veronica is a high school teacher who receives a sentence for a crime she committed at school. She takes on an indifferent attitude as if she were guilty. However, her father, who runs a restaurant, will realize that his daughter is innocent and will start to reflect his disappointment and restlessness in his own work life.
