A young journalist named Gauthier discovers that he is the illegitimate child of the famous elderly pop artist Guy Jamet, who rose to fame from the 60s to the 90s. When the old man goes on a tour to promote his new cover album, Gauthier decides to secretly follow him and make a documentary about his career.
